CHRISTUS Health's physicians, residents, nurses, pharmacists and other allied healthcare professionals work on innovative solutions to complex problems in a wide range of clinical disciplines, and collaborate with industry, federal government, and other academic institutions to provide evidence-based research results and generalizable knowledge, which positively and directly impact patient outcomes. Through an innovative, hub-and-spoke, clinical research delivery model spanned across its widespread geographic regions, the CHRISTUS Institute for Innovation and Advanced Clinical Care (CIIACC) offers patient-centered, ethically sound, and financially responsible clinical research participation opportunities to patients even in the most remote communities where we serve.
Our interdisciplinary, multi-regional, state-of-the-art Simulation Institute allows us to replicate real-world healthcare scenarios in a blame-free environment, which is safe for hands-on education and experimentation purposes, without putting actual patients at risk.
